In Nekojima, we gossip about cats.
The architecture career makes no sense. But, promotion money!
A TV dinner -- Meliora's moving up in the world. Sims toaster ovens should really be able to make a much wider range of meals. Out in this world, you can roast a chicken in one! Why can't Sims at least make little casseroles in them?
"You're looking very intellectual today, Yuki."
"Oh! Um, thank you."
Okay crap. There's a problem with this (beyond Yuki having two children, which is going to complicate things.) Minoru Fujiwara, Meliora's best friend, has smooched Yuki in front of her at least once that I can remember.
Though the Good Witch approves.
There's something more important than any love life complications, though: Meliora's comfort has been a constant struggle. So I converted the beach lot with a little surfer hut to a public hot spring.
Toshi's not looking very happy. I'll have to do something about that sometime, though Toshi's playable so she'll never be able to marry into Meliora's family.
Thank you Chiyo Nagata. I'll have to make sure you get some happiness too.
Meliora headed to the karaoke place to see if she could get her mind off Yuki. She's seen this guy cheat at chess, so meh on him. (Besides, he's playable.)
Ooh, is this the guy the mean pierced woman was picking on Minoru about? Maybe going after Yuki won't be an issue after all.
Meliora wonders if Minoru's a player. He doesn't seem like a player. More like a cinnamon roll with too-sweet frosting. Everyone's got their hidden sides, though.
At work the next day, Meliora got promoted to head of the construction company. So she bought an easel.
She also enlarged her bathroom.
The next day (after another promotion), a few women dropped by. Meliora greeted them happily enough, but she really wants to finish this painting. Lin Mori's rather distracting though. And worrisome.
Meliora's no therapist, but pizza's happy-making, right? Good thing she's got the money to order it. Though it will make a bit of a dent.
After another promotion, Meliora can afford to enlarge her home.
It's looking positively comfy now. There's a nice bookcase off to the side that I accidentally cut off, too.
The sea is lovely,
But I can't write poetry.
I'll paint it instead.
