I will be leaving Tumblr. Not deleting my old stuff (yet), but not posting there any more either. I don't care that I probably wouldn't be directly affected so long as I kept behaving my female-presenting self in a PG-13 way. What they're doing is disgusting and I refuse to be part of it.

Also I'm sick of being always SFW anyway, so there's that.

I'll be posting stories on Dreamwidth as a stopgap if Pillowfort doesn't work out quickly. Or permanently on Dreamwidth if they work out an image hosting deal that's as easy to use as Tumblr. A lot of people are working on a lot of alternatives right now, so I'm pretty optimistic.

Yeah, I get it. The more I read about people's complaints (and the tags they seem to be purging) the more concerned I am that this is some kind of excuse to target the LGBTQ community.

They're always the ones hit first. They also banned the chronic pain tag and a whole lot of disability bloggers.
